【摘要】:Thetemperatureatwhichalubricantremainsfluidandhomogeneousaftersevendaysisanindexofitsabilitytowithstandprolongedexposuretocoldtemperature.Withvegetableoilsandsomesyntheticesters,itisnecessarytodoextendedcoldstoragetesting.Quickcool,short-termtests,suchasTestMethodsD97andD2500,donotadequatelypredictthetendencytosolidifyoverlongertimespansatcoldtemperatures.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoindicatecoldtemperaturepumpabilityperformance.Aseparateassessmentofviscometricperformanceshouldbemadeinordertoassesscoldflowproperties,whichareimportantinordertoavoidsystemdamageincoldtemperatureapplications.SuitableguidelinesforsuchtestingandtesttemperaturesforvariousviscositygradescanbefoundinPracticeD6080.Nospecifictemperatureofmeasurementisgiveninthistestmethodbecausefluidswithdifferentviscositygradeshavedifferentcoldtemperatureperformanceexpectations.ForguidanceontemperatureselectionrelativetoanintendedlowtemperatureviscositygradeorISOVG,consultPracticeD6080.AsanexampleofusingPracticeD6080D6080,aL22viscositygradewouldbeevaluatedatthelowesttemperatureforthatgrade,namely-22.9x00B0;C.Alternatively,afluidcanbeevaluatedatthelowesttemperatureexpectedforfieldservice.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthefluidityandappearanceofhydraulicfluidsafterstorageatlowtemperature.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.2.1Exception8212;In6.1.1,thematerialisdesignatedincStasthisisthecommonnameusedforthistypeofoil.1.3WARNINGMercuryhasbeendesignatedbymanyregulatoryagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercurycontainingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsitehttp://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htmforadditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryand/ormercurycontainingproductsintoyourstateorcountrymaybeprohibitedbylaw.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see1.3andSection6.
