【摘要】:Phenoliccompoundsaresometimesfoundinsurfacewatersfromnaturalandindustrialsources.Chlorinationofsuchwatersmayproduceodoriferous,objectionabletastingchlorophenols.Thesecompoundsmayincludeo-chlorophenol,p-chlorophenol,2,6-dichlorophenol,and2,4-dichlorophenol.41.1Thistestmethodcoversadirectaqueousinjectionprocedureforthegas-liquidchromatographicdeterminationofphenols,cresols,andmono-anddi-chlorophenolsinwater.1.2Theprecisionandbiasofthetestmethodhasbeencalculatedfromtheresultsofinterlaboratoryanalysesofthreemastersolutions,eachcontainingphenol,p-cresol,p-chlorophenol,3,5-dichlorophenol.1.3Thetestmethodmaybeappliedtowastewaterorconcentratesthatcontainmorethan1mg/Lofphenoliccompounds.Therefore,foracomparisonwithTestMethodsD1783,see.1.4Theanalystshouldrecognizethatprecisionstatementsprovidedinandmaynotapplytowatersofothermatrices.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeNote0.
