【摘要】:Squeeze-offisatechniqueusedtocontroltheflowofgasthroughapipebythecompressingactionofamechanicalorhydraulicdevice.Squeeze-offmaybeusedtoreducetheflowofgastoanacceptablerate.Propersqueeze-offproceduresresultinsignificanttimesavinginthereductionofgasflowinanemergencyandinthemaintenanceandoperation,orboth,ofagasdistributionsystem.Impropersqueeze-offcancausedamagetothepipeorcreateasafetyhazard,orboth.1.1Thisguidedescribesgeneralproceduresforsqueeze-offofpolyolefingaspressurepipeandtubing.Pipeandsqueezetoolmanufacturersshallberequestedtosupplyrecommendationsforsqueeze-offwithmaterialsorproducts.1.2Governingcodesandprojectspecificationsshouldbeconsulted.Nothinginthisdocumentshouldbeconstruedasrecommendingpracticesorsystemsatvariancewithgoverningcodesandprojectspecifications.1.3Thisguidecoverssqueeze-offofpolyolefinpipeandtubinginaccordancewithSpecificationD2513.1.4Whereapplicableinthisguide,x201C;pipex201D;shallmeanx201C;pipeandtubing.x201D;1.5Unitsx2013;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunits,whichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredthestandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
