【摘要】:Thispracticecoversadefinitiveprocedureforratingtheserviceabilityofabuildingorbuilding-relatedfacility,thatis,forascertainingitscapabilitytoperformthefunctionsforwhichitisdesigned,used,orrequiredtobeused.Aseparatescaleisusedforeachtopicofserviceability.Foreachtopic,aserviceabilitylevelisascertained.Overallserviceabilityisexpressedasaprofileoflevels(thatis,notasasinglenumber),andmaybepresentedasabarchart.Thispracticeisnotintendedtobeusedforregulatorypurposes.Thispracticecanbeusedtoratetheserviceabilityofabuildingorbuilding-relatedfacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,orwhichisabouttoberemodelledorrehabilitated,forexample,forwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.Thispracticespecifieshowtoascertainserviceabilitylevelsforaspecificbuilding,butnotwhatwouldcauseabuildingtoberatedatagivenlevel.Thatinformationisfoundinstandardclassificationsforspecifictopicsofserviceabilitythatcontainasetofrequirementandratingscales.Thispracticeandoneormoresuchstandardclassificationsaremutuallydependent.Eachrequirestheother.Theformatofsuchstandardclassifications,andofrelatedinformation,isdescribedin.Anexampleofthescaleswrittenforsuchclassificationsisgivenin.Thispracticedoesnotcoverbuildingevaluation,buildingconditionreports,nordiagnosisofperformance;nordoesitcoverinstruments,toolsorqualityofmeasurementsforevaluation,conditionreports,ordiagnosisofperformance.Thispracticeappliesonlytofacilitiesthatarebuildingconstructions,partsthereof,orbuilding-related.Whilethispracticemaybeusefulinratingtheserviceabilityoffacilitiesthatarenotbuildingconstructions,suchfacilitiesareoutsidethescopeofthispractice.Theprocessforcreatingoradaptingasetofclassificationsforaspecificfacilitytypeorcategoryisoutsidethescopeofthispractice.1.8Thispracticecontainsthefollowinginformation:
