【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|TechnicalReportusestheconceptsandterminologyoftheQualityofServiceFramework,ITU-TRec.X.641|ISO/IEC13236.Itisintendedtosupportthosedesigning,testingandspecifyingInformationTechnology(IT)systems,datacommunicationsservicesandprotocols,thosedefiningQoSmanagementfunctionsandQoSmechanismsforparticulardataenvironmentsandtechnologies,andthoseengagedinotherQoS-relatedactivitiessuchassystemtesting,byprovidingasourceofreferencematerialonQoS.Todothis,itbringstogetherreferencestomethodsandmechanismsfromavarietyofsources,andinsomecasesdocumentstheminastylewhichwillpermittheiruseinmanydatadifferentenvironments.Theterm"method"isusedinaverygeneralsensetoincludeanyprocess,function,etc.,thatisrelevanttoQoSatanystageinthelife-cycleofasystem.ThecriterionforreferencetoorinclusionofdefinitionsorspecificationsofQoSmethodsandmechanismsinthisRecommendation|TechnicalReportisthattheyarethoughttobeofpotentiallywiderapplicationthansolelytheenvironmentforwhichtheywereoriginallydeveloped,althoughstillinadatacontext.Clause5identifiessourcesofdefinitionsofQoScharacteristicsandrelatedinformation.Clauses6,7and8discussmethodsandmechanismsappropriatetothephasesofQoSactivitythataredefinedintheQoSFramework:clause6dealswiththepredictionphase,clause7withtheestablishmentphaseandclause8withtheoperationalphase.Clause9describesmethodsforverificationofsystembehaviourrelatedtoQoS.Clause10coverstherelationshipsbetweenthisRecommendation|TechnicalReportandRecommendations,InternationalStandardsorTechnicalReportsthatreferenceit.ThisRecommendation|TechnicalReportcontainsdetaileddefinitionsofsomeQoSmechanisms.Somepeer-to-peerQoSnegotiationmechanismsaredefinedin7.1.1.Theseinvolvetwopeerentitiesandinmostcasesalsotheproviderofacommunicationsservicebetweenthem.Subclause7.1.2providesaninitialspecificationofsomeQoSnegotiationmechanismsfor1×Nmulticastconnections,basedonthosein7.1.1.Subclause7.1.3discussesQoSnegotiationmechanismsforM×Nmulticast,someofwhichcanmakeuseofthosein7.1.2.Subclause8.2.1definessomeQoSmanagementmechanismstosupporttime-criticalapplications.ThisRecommendation|TechnicalReportdoesnotincludemethodsandmechanismsforsecurity.
